I actually can't tell if I've been productive so far this summer or not. I've done a handful of "important" things (doing a Japanese course, putting in my two weeks at my crappy job and getting an interview for a new one) but most of the time it feels like I've just been lying around. A lot of that lying around has been spent watching Doctor Who, though, so that's okay. xD

How about you guys? Done anything fun thus far this summer? Any big plans on the horizon? :3

Happy August to you too :) It's our National Day today, but unfortunately some dickweeds ruined it by blasting their stuff all day and scaring our cats - well, Clio and Dante, I think Filou is used to it or too old/lazy to care ;)

Sounds to me like you have been quite productive! I hope that you'll get a better job, considering your current one is crap, according to you. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Me? Nah, mostly been busy with the damn thesis, and I can't force myself to prepare my final speech. But I'll be working a lot, so hopefully I can make some money - gotta plan my budget a bit now that my week in Vienna is on the horizon! Otherwise, I've listened to a 30-CD audio book and want to do it all over again :D Not much else otherwise, I'm playing two games on Facebook and reading Donna Leon's crime novels with the Brunetti character :)

Hopefully the rest of the summer will be good for all of us, weather-wise as well. Is it hot on your end of the Atlantic too? I'm taking a hand-held fan like the señoritas in Spain to work with me because it's so hot on some days... ;D
