Another week, another parade of weirdness.
pg3 God mode? Toad mode? Is one a clone? What?
pg6 Naruto, did you just fistbump the giant monkey? xD And...what, did that lend him some chakra? 'Cause the implication was that the fistbump would help him out, but it didn't seem to do anything. Ah well.
pg7 So...the undead jinchuriki is now dead again. Right.
pg9 My actual reaction: "Oh bloody hell." It's the Apocalypse for the Narutoverse, people. First zombie!Madara making our heroes play catch with meteors and now this.
pg12 Aaaand now he's fistbumping the giant fox. Good gawd, this is getting surreal. Would you like to fistbump any other giant monsters this battle, Naruto? Because it's apparently become your biggest asset.
pg13 Oh my god, guys, do you realize what this means? Validation. A decade's worth of the-Kyuubi-actually-likes-Naruto-really fanfiction has become canon. Fic plots are coming true. I can't decide if this is wonderful or...
pg16 O-kay, is it just me or is that last panel kinda terrifying? Like, Naruto's gone Dark Side or something. XD

Date: 2012-01-18 09:44 pm (UTC)And now that I think about it, all this fist-bumping is really lulzy. At least we didn't get some corny flash in the background, as if the rings of two superheroes suddenly met or something xD (*blames Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy for that comment*)
Ooh yes, so the fans were right about something! :D Or was Kishi even slightly inspired by our works? Hmm...
I dunno, I think the last panel is awesome. Then again, that might also be due to the fact that I like these dark shots with someone looking like they're about to go on a rampage or something ;D
Bottom line: I thought it was a great chapter, can't wait for some epicness next week - and will someone PLEASE kick Mystery Man's butt already?!
