Mm, tough question...I pretty much love them all, but my absolute favorites would have to be The Black Cauldron, Treasure Planet and Mulan. TBC because it's delightfully dark for a Disney movie (blood, talk of actual death, a friggin' ZOMBIE ARMY) and has probably the single scariest villain in animated history (hi thar, Horned King, you still terrify me). Treasure Planet because Jim is an adorably realistic character, everything's beautiful/cool to look at, the bond between Jim and Silver turns me to mush every time and the music is awesome. Mulan because...well, it's friggin' Mulan. Great music, awesome characters, kickass heroine, pretty to look at, funny...everything that makes Disney epic. :D

Talk to me guys! Favorite Disney movies? Or just favorite animated movies in general? (I could go on for days about that...xD)

I'm totally with you on Mulan. It's my all time favourite, too.
I also love The Lion King, though. (Pocahontas, too *blush*). And Aristocasts.

Truth be told, I love every single Disney movie. I just think they were soooo much better when they were not using computers...

Woot! *high five*

The Lion King is sooo epic. I've only watched it a handful of times, though. /fail Pocahontas has great music, why the blush? And yay, someone else who remembers the Aristocats! :D

I don't know...I'm partical to 2D animation myself, but some of their CGI movies were pretty great (Toy Story for one; Tangled for a more recent one). I was sooo happy that Princess and the Frog was drawn traditionally, though. :D

I still have to watch Tangled...everyone loves it, so I suppose I should give it a try. Oh, I loved Aladdin, too, by the way (actually, I loved the 3rd part the most....)

I've never seen Princess and the Frog either...another thing I should catch up with, I guess.

At times I really don't like tough questions, but when it's one about such a delightfully nostalgic topic like Disney, exceptions can be made, no? ;)

Hmm... the only one I've seen of your choices is Mulan. Should I be ashamed? I probably should xD Ah well, at least now I know what I can do when my workload loosens up a bit!

As for other animated movies - although it's entirely computer-animated - Toy Story kicks major ass. I seriously love the entire trilogy, and I damn near cried when I saw the final installment at an open-air cinema with my best friend :')

Dude, I could go on for quite a while too, even though I tend to be the one who has seen fewer movies than friends with whom I talk about things like this... :/

Oh, absolutely. Disney and nostalgia are practically synonymous. :') (That reminds me. It was a few months ago, but I MET THE NOSTALGIA CRITIC. 8DDD)

LOL, don't be ashamed. Black Cauldron is pretty obscure (it bombed and Disney basically tried to forget it ever happened). Treasure Planet's pretty new and somehow it managed to also bomb despite being a really well-made movie, so neither one is especially well known. ^^;

Ah, how could I forget Toy Story!! Cripes, I love those movies. The last one kinda depressed me, though.

Haha, I'm the opposite--my friends aren't exactly Disney nuts. They get pretty tired of me rambling on. xD;

O_____O

In all seriousness, my first reaction to that statement (meeting NC) was: "Holy FUCK!" OMGOMGOMG, tell me all about it! Where? When? What did you do? Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah...!!! *spazzfest* (See, that's what I hate about living here: there are no awesome cons or anything T____T)

Really? Still, I'll try to get around to seeing them someday :) I just wish we could take all the (*gag*) success of Miley Virus and distribute it among Disney products that, unfortunately, were not as successful as they would have deserved to be... xD

Yeah, the last one depressed me too. It reminded me in particular of a set of plastic horses I once had... I hunted through my entire room for it, but I must have ditched it. The realization made me sad. On the other hand, I still have a lot of my old stuffed animals - and my baby blanket *blush* (I called it "Otto" instead of "Auto" (which, essentially, is "car" in German) (you see, there are little animals on wheels on it... dunno why I was thinking of cars) Anyway, Mom wants me to ditch it because it's showing signs of age, but I can't bear it part with it ^^)

Mine aren't, either. They usually watch live-action movies, most of which I have neither seen nor have any desire to see. But that's the fantastic thing about you and my other online friends: we can talk about these things forever :)))

Man, I know I've (occasionally) commented on your entries, but all the same, I've really missed talking to you! *hugs* Sometimes it does make me wish I had not "fallen out" of the Naruto fandom, i.e. writing fics and such... *sigh sigh sigh*

LOL, I thought you'd get a kick out of that! Yeah, it was in August at this one convention he goes to pretty regularly. I went to his Q&A panel (and asked what the worst sequel he'd ever reviewed was--apparently it's the third Neverending Story). It was hilarious. Someone gave him a Bat Credit Card (from the Batman and Robin review) and he chased them around the room. Another guy memorized the entire villain song from the second Secret of Nimh and sang it to him, ending up on the stage, which was pretty insane. (Both incidents are on Youtube now, I'm pretty sure.) Then I waited in line for an autograph the next day. The whole weekend he was basically just wandering around the con, though; it was great. :D

Treasure Planet should be pretty easy to find. And TBC is on Youtube in its entirety. :) Hear hear! There are so many good Disney creations that deserve the spotlight. ;.;

Aw, don't ditch the blanket! I still have mine too. xD You'd probably regret it. I keep all my old stuffed animals in a box; I could never get rid of them. :')

Seconded on the subject of online friends~!! That's what the Internet is for!

Yeah, same here. *hugs back* I felt like kind of a jerk for not commenting on your massive Russia trip post (I read it, though, I promise!); I couldn't get my thoughts into anything coherent that wasn't just, like, spazzing all over the place and not making any sense. ^^; And dude, you know this already but it bears repeating: Naruto is getting so weird, it's not even funny. Tons of people just on my flist have more or less stopped posting fic. My guess is that either a) the series has finally gotten too ridiculous for them or b) no theory is safe anymore! So it's not just you.

x3 Indeed, I did! How I envy you, arrrrgh...! Maybe I can coordinate a future US trip so I can attend a con too...? ;)
Haha no surprise there, he really hated that movie :D Btw, which of his reviews is your favorite (even if you haven't watched all of them)? I recently watched his Top 11 Disney Villains and Top 11 Villain Songs, and enjoyed them very much - more than I was supposed to, methinks!
*almost dies* Seriously?! What a ballsy thing to do, so awesome! Gotta look that up on YouTube! Props to the brave soul who dared to confront him with his berserk button...! Did you see any other guys from Channel Awesome, btw? Personally, I would love to meet NC, Todd and Film Brain ;)

I'll probably check on Stagevu first, then YT if that fails. Thanks for the pointers! ^^

Don't worry; unless Mom throws him away behind my back (yeah, I gave it a gender), he ain't leaving my life. He's still quite dear to me, even though he's not, y'know, in plain sight all the time. Maybe I should wash him with this weekend's laundry... *ponders* Yay, another stuffed animal lover! I swear, even today, I'll go out of my way to find some excuse to walk down the stuffed animal aisle - Mom thinks its ridiculous, and while I don't have as many animals as I once used to, I will still occasionally buy one because I love the fluffiness :3 I want another stuffed unicorn, even though I already have two big ones and an identical little one...

Exactly - the Internet is not for p**n, but for friends instead! =)

Nah, don't feel like that - I understand when people don't reply to super-long posts. I'm glad you enjoyed it, though! (Did you check out the photos and/or videos? If so, was there something that surprised you/something you really liked? *too curious*) It's kinda surreal that I went there, now that I think about it... and even now, three months after my return to Switzerland, I'm still grateful to be back. ^^; Yeah, I'm still that grateful to be away from the omnipresence of the police and being able to understand everything (that is German or French) xD
Really? Wow... okay, now I feel a little better. But still, sometimes I really miss my stories, especially since I never got around to writing some of the future stuff for PIE. But what I have is connected with fond memories, mostly because of you and all your support! (dd <-- *forever grateful*) (Oh, but I still check out Mutsumix' journal on a surprisingly regular basis - her art is still as gorgeous as ever ♥)
I hope we'll get some (non-crack/non-mind-twisting) Sasuke action here soon; I'm kinda antsy for the final fight... :/

You really should someday. He goes to that con pretty regularly, although who knows how long that'll last, him being engaged and all.
Favorite review, hmm...it'd have to be a tie between Batman and Robin, The Star Wars Christmas Special, and The Other Animated Titanic Movie. And you? :3
Found them! Here's the crazy fan: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SCRLxGFQkQI&feature=related And here's the Bat Credit Card incident: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nmyQbNTxTXc&feature=related I don't think any other CA members were there, but I only really watch Nostalgia Critic and Nostalgia Chick videos, so I probably would't've recognized them. ^^;

No problemo~

LOL, when I was younger I had so many stuffed animals there was barely room in the bed for me. Who doesn't love fluffy things, right? xD

Haha, exactly! (I do love that song, though...)

I definitely looked through the photo album. I *loved* the pictures of the Kremlin--I always thought that looked cool; it reminds me of Candyland, actually. xD; Yeah, I imagine it would be a bit uncomfortable with all the police roaming around.
^//^ It occurs to me that I owe finding several of my favorite things to you--Mutsumix, TV Tropes, TGWTG...you have excellent taste, my friend. xD Yeah, seriously; we got teased with those three panels of Sasuke, and now he's been forgotten again. I would love more story concerning characters we actually know.
