season 5 at last!

Okay, so, season 4 was basically one long strung-out heartbreak. Saaaaaam, you demon blood addict, why do you do this to yourself? ;-; Although I enjoy Castiel (as well as Chuck the Prophet!) and I am starting to see where the Dean/Cas fandom gets all its juice. Fun. xD Oh, that reminds me--Sympathy For The Devil? That Sam/Dean fangirl? I couldn't stop giggling. I absolutely love it when this series breaks down the Fourth Wall, looks the fandom straight in the eye and says "That's right. We know what's going on in those sick minds of yours." (As you can imagine, The Monster At The End Of This Book was a favorite of mine.)

But getting back to the initial issue--DAMMIT SAM. We all called the whole "Lilith is the last seal" thing a couple episodes beforehand, so it was rather like watching a train wreck. Here's my thing--Dean was right outside the door when Sam was going all black-eyes on Lilith, so why on earth didn't he just yell that she was the final seal? He was already shouting Sam's name; would that really have been so difficult?! *sigh*

So anyway. Just finished episode 1 of the fifth season (hey thar Cas, knew there was too much fandom love for you to be dead ♥). Bobby never fails to surprise me; I don't think any other character in the show has survived this long. And the end of the episode, the whole "We can't go back to the way we were" thing...*SOB*

Oh, those poor boys. The writers on this show are sadists. Really, really creative sadists. Every time I think things can't possibly get any worse, they surprise me. Oy vay.

Well, pardon me if this is just word vomit. I was up at 6:30 this morning for work and things kinda went downhill from there, so I'm a little out of it. Hope y'all had a wonderful Monday, if such a thing is even possible. xD

(y'know, sometimes when I'm saying 'whyyyyyy writers. why are you so cruelllll?' but if I were in the same position, I'd probably do the same thing.)
