mildmaythecatOkay, it's official: the Naruto chapters on mangareader are giving my computer viruses. Fan-frickin'-tastic. Kuroshitsuji is okay, but someone's messed with the Naruto updates, so...other safe, translated manga-reading site recommendations? Dammit, dammit, dammit...
*sigh* Well, at least it was a pretty awesome chapter. Starting with colored!Itachi and Nagato and a pretty heartwarming colored title page.
Aww, Gaara...♥♥♥ Guess he's finally gotten his closure. I appreciate Kishimoto having the Fourth Kazekage own up to what he did instead of skating around it or justifying it. So while he's still scum for doing what he did, he's not pure evil. Nicely compromised, Kishi-sensei.
I really like how those Kage zombies made sure to explain their jutsus and how to avoid them.
Am I the only one who found it funny that the fight advertised in the chapter title never happened, and that the two in question didn't even meet up until the last page? xD
Curse it all, does this mean we won't be getting a Sasuke/Itachi reunion anytime soon?! Are we gonna have to watch Itachi "die" for the third friggin' time? :'( And again I ask--what good is Nagato going to be in battle? He can't even move! Unless he still controls the six Pein bodies, which...would be great, if they weren't all blind now (via Madara's Rinnegan transplant...guess that doesn't necessarily make them blind, but the lack of Rinnegan would still cut down on their abilities considerably).
Overall, fabulous chapter. Worth another freaking problem on my computer? Meh. Seriously, if someone knows a site that has Naruto translated into English and doesn't screw with your software, I'm taking suggestions! Halp! D:

Hahaha you're not the only one who found it funny that the chapter title's namesake didn't happen... I was so hyped on the first page only to see that Naruto and Bee didn't encounter Itachi and Nagato until the end. =___=
But next week... IS THIS THE FIGHT WHERE ITACHI TELLS NARUTO THE TRUTH?? There's no point in hiding it anymore if Naruto tells him that Sasuke wants to destroy Konoha because they screwed Itachi over. xD

If you're talking about the fact that Itachi was a good guy all along, Naruto already knows. Madara told him, Kakashi and Yamato a thousand chapters ago or something...he might not've believed him, though. I REALLY want that crow that Itachi forced down Naruto's throat to be explained. :\

I once read a theory on narutoforums that the crow Itachi gave Naruto is a power called the "Yatagarasu." In China it's known as the "sun bird" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three-legged_crow), so a lot of people think it's some sort of ability that allows Naruto to cure blindness caused by the sharingan. But since Sasuke has EMS now, it's probably curing blindness metaphorically.
Others on tumblr said it might be a piece of Itachi's soul, making Naruto a Hocrux. Who knows. x)

Naruto and Sasuke having their Epic Battle and just as Sasuke's about to win, Naruto does his thing and suddenly we have Itachi Ghost #2. It would be awesome. 8)
