Was I the only one feeling seriously excited about the new Winnie the Pooh movie? Not only is it Pooh's first new movie in traditional animation in the better part of a decade, but they used a Keane song for the trailer for maximum heartstring harp potential. Anyway, I just saw it and it was so cute and funny and for one glorious hour I was a little kid again.

You're never really too old for Winnie the Pooh, are you? ♥

DON'T WORRY, I WAS EXCITED TOO~~~ and that keane song really fit. :'D i can't wait to see it. unf, traditional animation. it's a shame that it's now become an abandoned media in favor of the new-fangled 3D. :(

LOL, everyone I've talked to has said the same thing. And here I thought I'd be ridiculed! xD Yeah, I'm a major traditional animation junkie, so I'm glad it seems to be making a comeback with The Princess and the Frog & Winnie the Pooh. :)

winnie the pooh is just too epic to not be loved. :'D oh yes, definitely! :D i really hope disney helps keeps it alive, it's such a shame to lose.

This is the point where I have to admit (and it embarrasses me quite a bit) that I have never ever watched Winnie the Pooh. Not once.
Maybe I missed out on something ;)

Nope. I was a kid who grew up more or less without TV. I mean, we had a TV and all, but we only had an antenna (if that's what you call it...), no sattelite/digital TV till I was about fourteen, so we would only receive three channels. That was all fine and dandy, and there was some stuff for kids there ("Die Sendung mit der Maus", which I still watch occasionally because it's the best show ever, and all those Astrid Lindgren movies, Pippi Longstocking etc pp) but, alas, no Winnie the Pooh for me. Nor TMNT, no Sailor Moon, no Disney's Adventures of the Gummy Bears or whatever the other children were watching.

Didn't harm me in any way, though ^^ I read a lot and played outside instead of spending all day in front of the TV, which was good, I guess.
