NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO NEJIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
OKAY THIS IS NOT COOL. I've barely been keeping up with recent developments. I thought this series' ability to make me clench up inside at the fates of its characters had dried up (and believe me I have done WAY too much crying for Naruto characters over the years).
WRONGO. I'm just...Neji is dead?! I don't even know how to process this, you know? It still really hurts when characters you've taken for granted, that've been in the back of your mind for years and years, since the beginning of this damn crazy series, get killed off. Neji's character arc made a beautiful full circle and I love that Kishimoto gave him that send-off, but wow does it hurt.
First Shikaku (and apparently Inoichi WTF HOW DID I NOT KNOW HE WAS DEAD TOO), now this. I guess Kishimoto's decided the best way to keep us invested at this point is by killing off beloved side characters, and I hate that it's actually working.
DAMMIT NARUTO I WISH I KNEW HOW TO QUIT YOU.

Date: 2012-12-20 12:28 am (UTC)...Yeah, really didn't see that coming :/ I think it's impossible for any of the good characters to not go out as heroes at this point, but I hope Kishi will limit their death toll. Like... wait a minute, I just had a thought. Are the Kages dead? If they aren't, I'll be really pissed if he kills them off. And if they are dead, I'm sorry I kinda... forgot. But I've been losing track of a lot of things that are going on ever since this Final War started ^^;
Just watch, he'll kill Hinata too. Or let's just say that I wouldn't be terribly surprised if that would happen just to up the drama... >.>
They had better kill of the villains/end the Edo Tensei/whatever before Madara becomes the Juubi's jinchuuriki.
They. Had. Better.
*sigh* At times I wish I knew how to quit this series too, but of course now I have to know how it end, even though at this point I'm fairly certain it will not be an ending I'm okay with (shonen-ai preferences aside)... :(
