mother-fucking-nature

Anderson Cooper was just talking about the Buffalo snowstorm. 5 feet yesterday, 7 more feet expected, everyone's buried...which, you know, isn't unusual in Buffalo, but this is insane even for them. They called in the National Guard?? Shit. My whole family's up there, you know? I was born there. And suddenly the place is all over the news. This is nuts. Also? It's November what the fuck.

Any crazy weather stories y'all would like to share? We got a few inches here, but nothing too bad. Mostly it's just bitter, bitter cold. > __ >

Can't think of anything off the top of my head. We got snow...Saturday, I think? They had to close off a section of Guadalupe National Park because the ice was slick and there'd been three crashes. Southeastern New Mexico and Southwestern Texas aren't used to getting snow around now. Sometimes in December, rarely on Christmas, and the "good" stuff falls around February.

It did finally get up to 70 today, which was sooo gooood. <3
